WellWoman Health Insurance
This policy is geared towards women to help them if they get diagnosed with cancer and pays out a fixed sum. Everyone from aged 18-69 in the UK will be accepted without a medical so long as they have never had cancer before.
It pays out a lump sum of £25,000 on the standard plan and £50,000 on the premier cover and you can spend the money as you wish. 7 types of cancer are covered but these only account for the cancers in 40% of women in the UK so you may want to search for something less restrictive if you are thinking of covering yourself against cancer.

Claims procedure
The claims procedure is slightly different from other providers which you may want to consider. If you choose to have treatments at BMI hospitals then all invoicing is handled by AIG. There are over 60 private BMI hospitals in the UK so you should be able to find one.
However, if you choose to have treatment at a private hospital other than BMI then you’ll have to get and send all the paperwork into AIG for them to settle. This can cause stress especially after an operation.
If you choose to have treatment at NHS hospitals then AIG will reimburse the cost of the procedure if you would have had it at a BMI hospital.
So that’s a summary of the AIG health insurance that this company offers.
